How Often Do You Pray?

I pray about 1 or 2 times a week, I know, it should be more often, but at times I'm so messed up in my own world that I forget to pray, but I do. I usually go to church twice a week, on Saturday and Sunday, and those are the two times I pray, unless I go only one of those days, and then I'll pray that one time. Mylotters, how often do you pray?.That is, if you do.

I start my day, immediately I open my eyes, I thank God for everything. Before going to bed I do the same. Besides this, I try to read few pages of our Holy Book every day. When I get negative thoughts about anybody, I try to divert them by thinking about God's Blessings.

I try to pray every single night. It is the last thing I do before going to sleep. I pray for everyone and also say thank you. I believe there is power in prayer and our nation needs that now. Faith in the man will never do any good, faith in God, is the best way to go.

Hi miracle, I pray everyday. I always find time too and it's like about having conversation! I feel it very relaxing when I talked to GOD that way and this is also a habit since I grew up praying before and after bed!

I pray mulitple times a day. I always pray at night when I go to sleep and usually on the drive to work. But alot of times I catch myself saying little prayers throughout the day also. Talking to God is a huge comfort for me. I know He's always listening and He always cares about my hurts, desires, happiniess and sadness. So I find myself always pray and talking to hHim.

I will admit that I don't pray as often as I should. I too get so busy that I forget. I am working on improving that, to pray at least daily.

Hi there! I pray 5 times a day, when I wake up, Before eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and before I go to sleep. I thank God For everything that He gave us, continue His blessings to us, and thank Him that we survive and live another day. Have a nice day.

Do you think you have to be in church to pray? Or that you have to be totally focused on that and nothing else? Praying is nothing more than talking to God, and you can do that anytime, anywhere. Yes, most people think you should set aside a specific quiet time for prayer, but that is not exclusive. I'm not being judgmental, just naturally curious. Why just when you go to church? Why not while you're in the shower, or driving to work? Or as you're waiting to fall asleep?

Hi there! I always pray every night before going to bed. As much as possible I make it a point not to miss it. Even if I feel so sleepy I still pray just to say thank you for everything and then I go to sleep. I think it doesn't matter how many times you pray. What matters is that when you pray, you do it sincerely. Ciao!

I pray every morning after I read my scripture of the day. I used to be better in my prayer but am sorry to say that I've been lacking in conversation lately. I don't know what it is, maybe just my hectic life right now. I too attend church each week and find it quite refreshing. Helps me get through the week, you know.

Hi there,Ill Pray each and every day at my home it self and I'll go to temple atleast once in a week.So that I can be peaceful in my life.I heard in a lecture that if we give all the credit in the name of god we will be one most successful ones in the world.Like if you success in any project or in any other field, just say that "Its all due to my lord".Its not necessary that you should tell it aloud, just tell it in your heart...I am sure that you'll feel the difference...I follow this and Im really happy..!!God bless you and Have a nice day..!!!

I pray everyday. Sometimes, it's just to say thank you. I have conversations with God all the time though about everything. lol. We just moved to a new are, and we really need to find a church to go to. I've been telling my husband this since we got here. I never let myself get to busy to talk to God. I think we have a good relationship. I always feel...well if I was troubled, after praying, I always feel comforted. Sometimes it seems like all you have is your faith, and that's what always gets you through.

I guess it depends on how you define prayer. I pray all the time. But I define prayer as a a constant commune with God. But I think what you are saying is to actually talk to God during a defined time and place. In that case I pray every night before I go to bed and every morning when I get up. It's not the position, It's the condition!

I think that GOD is in our Heart ...every single person that thinks good for you is a type of GOD for you ..U dont need to go to church,or Musjid,or Gurdwaras or Any kind of temples for it .you can pray for God by helping your parents specially your Mother .due to which you came on earth .and you cant pay for what she did for you .so in short i would like to say .that going far from home to temples of our religions instead of this we should help our parents our grandparents ..thank you

I try to "pray without ceasing" like the Bible says. I don't know if you are a Christian or not but if you are, you can pray any time, anywhere. You don't need to be at church or do any special routine just keep Him in your heart and thoughts and He will be with you wherever you go.

Hi miraclefreebies.. I don't pray.. I stop praying about 7 years ago.. I don't believe in the imaginative being that you people call "god".. it's just my answer to this question.. I don't want to be questioned about why I don't believe anymore, I just don't and period..
