I have read part of the book(I'm ok you're ok), it has good points about personalities, but I find it boring (it is also a book that colleges like to make their students read)

I read this book when I was in college about 20 years ago for a class assignment, but except for the title "I'm O.K. you're O.K." I don't remember what this book was about. It has been so long ago, I forgot. I think I should read the book again now that I am older and maybe I might understand it better.
