old magazines |
| |
| if you subscribe to or buy magazines regularly, what do you do with them after you've read them? do you keep them, throw them away or maybe even sell them? i used to keep old magazines but after a while i ran out of space so i started throwing them away. | | | | | |

| | I am not one to read magazines and such, but If I were I know I would keep them for awhile and then recycle them or give them to other people or maybe even make fun projects out of them if I could. I agree that they can take up a lot of space. | | | | | | |

| | recycling is a good idea but unfortunately there isn't any recycling place near where i live. also if the magazines are on a very specific topic and technical there may not be very many other people interested in them. thanks for responding. | | | |

| | I collect a few old magazines, then I either use them for artwork or throw them in the recyling bin. Or I cut out nice pictures from the magazines and put them in an album. I'm silly, right? =x | | | | | | |

| | We read them and then donate them to the hospital and/or nursing home so that the patients can read them. Sometimes my girls cut them up to make stuff out of but usually they get donated. Have a great day!! | | | | | | |

| | yes of course, donating them to those places is a great thing but some magazines have your name and addresss printed on them and i just don't want them to get into the wrong hands. i guess i could cover them with black markers or tear them off but that would be too tedious. thanks for responding and have a great weekend! | | | |

| | Hi, Aiden! We teachers have a wonderful son to this problem. Many, including this one, bring them to school for the kids to read. I even subscribe to a few I don't read and I don't like, so the kids can have the benefit of something interesting to read. | | | | | | |

| | Actually, I teach high school seniors, not little kids. They love things like Teen People, ESPN, Vibe, etc., but they also like most of what I read, such as Time, Newsweek, Natioal Geographic. etc. | | | |

| | hi humbug25, those that you take to the doctors, do they have your name and address on them? as i said above i'm a little concerned about my personal info getting into the wrong hands. | | | |

| | If the sticker is in a place like the bottom corner then I just cut if off provided there is no really important info on the other side but there are usually just ads. I try to peel the sticker off if I have the time or scribble over it until it is illegible if it is in a more awkward place! | | | |
