For all you kungfu flick fans, this would be an exciting documentary as it aims to prove/disprove the all to familiar myth of freezing someone on the spot.

| scammerwear (617) | 1 year ago | Well, basically the documentary talks about how they got this expert to experiment on a piglet to see what will happen to it. The results were not very good in the beginning, till 20 mins later the piglet suddenly laid down and refused to move. After that, a not so bright writer with sparring background went to 'try it out'. You would think that he got the idea the first time, but he decided that he had to try and spar with the guy. Watching him fall into a pile and gasping for breathe was funny in a painful way XD. | |

There have been some shows on history and the science channel on Martial Arts. The science behind the metal blades made for the Samari; the science behind the different movements.
One measured the bone and muscle density of extreme fighters and had them do different moves on dummies. The bone and muscle density is the only reason why many of them aren't killed instantly because most people would die with the hits, kicks, and body slams these guys use.
There was one show about riding archers. There was a sect that did that and people trying to reinact and learn from it.
