Governance for a day

If you get the chance of getting the governance of your country only for 24 hours with full autority, what would you like to do in 24 hours to the best of your satisfaction???

I would fire everyone! I would go out into the street and ask people to serve, get some housewives and firemen and such to sit in Congress. Assuming my appointees would stay after my 24 hours were up, I'll bet our country would be in much better shape in a year or so.
