Poison oak and poison ivy makes everyone itch, not just some. The bad part of it is, you can get it on your clothes and if you touch your clothes it will make you itch. Working for the forestry service, I have become very aware of my surroundings lol. There are some people that will itch more than others, but I haven't met anyone that didn't itch from it.

As far as I know, poison oak gives EVERYONE itch and a rash as well. I've searched it up and I can tell you now WHY as well. The reason because of it, is that the poision oak, only is poision, when he feels that he's in danger. For example; when somebody's touching him. This will make the little needles (ofcourse you almost can't see those! come out of the plant, and the plant will touch you with those needles! Which ofcourse the poison is in! This makes the skin of the human body itchy and get a rash..I don't think people can be allergic to it, because it's for everyone poison..
What I do want to mention is that you can UNPoison this plant! You just need to put on some gloves, take the plant, and start pressing it as hard as you can. Don't forget to miss a part, you should do all the leaflets. Just keep it in your hand and press it. This will make the poison come out. Do this for 2,3 minutes, and after it you can touch the poison oak with your bare hands! Quite weird..I used to do this for feeding the chickens! LOL
Happy MyLotting!
