Woman buys house for $1.75

That was once a very sweet little house and it has a lovely yard. I would have considered buying that house too and then set about finding someone interested in a lease/purchase agreement where they could live in the house in exchange for cleaning it up and fixing it up and I would reimburse them for reasonable expenses for their purchasing what would be necessary to restore the home and then too, I would charge a very small amount of rent which would just cover the cost of property taxes and other legal expenses plus a bit more that would go into a special hoilding account. If they ended up buying the property that would be used as down payment and if they didn't I would keep it. That was a smart woman who bid on that land.

That would be a great deal. I hope she makes a good profit!!

That's neat, even if it's just a little place. Now everyone is going to be looking on ebay for that special house deal. Who knows, if she changes her plan to keep it, the value on the land might go up. But for that price, flipping it shouldn't be difficult.

Wow, what a deal. That is less than the iced Coffee at MCDonalds. But back taxes and cleanup costs is not bad. If she knows any good contractors she can turn around and sell the house for more. I never thought bidding at Ebay is real.

I'll bet the real estate agent wanted some of that, I knew of a girl who was getting divorced and her hubby had a brand new truck he'd just bought. It was in her possession and the judge told her to sell it and give half to her husband, she sold it for $1.00 and gave him .50. Lesson: Don't cheat on your wife, it will only get you .50 worth of sympathy.

That's pretty amazing, but also sad. I suppose that desparate times call for desparate measures. I can't believe what some people are having to resort to in order to get money, these days. Wow!! I pay more for that per day on coffee in my favourite coffee shop. If I were able to buy a house for $1.75 in a day, flip it and sell it for even 1,000% of what I paid for it, I'd still make a profit!!

I had to laugh, I was expecting it to be some really nice house or something and the owners to be gutted, but it is just a little shack. But still, a house is a house and if she can make some money off it good luck to her!

Wow. That's awesome. I wish I could find a house to buy in the area where I live for that much. hehe Hmmm. Maybe I should look on ebay. :D
