maybe its unknown to the majority but known to just few like his/her family maybe.. but definitely, there's somebody who wrote that one, not just popular as some composers do! and according to my google search, that one i mentioned in my previous response is the one who wrote it. not really a hundred percent sure 'bout it but that is just what i have found out through the net!

name sounds Italian, don't you think? Maybe he composed the melody and Filipinos adapted the melody with tagalog lyrics. Question is, who wrote the lyrics?

isn't it the composer is the one who wrote the lyrics, right?! so if you're asking me the same question as merphius asked then i'll answer you back with the same answer as i mentioned in my first response and i would say again that's ACCORDING TO MY GOOGLE SEARCH! not hundred percent sure though!

but maybe you're right with your guess! i really don't know personally as i didn't bother to know it until this has been questioned here in myLot..
