 What would you do if you planned a visit to Australia, and found yourself instead in Canada? This is what happened to a lady from Argentina recently. Monique Rozanes Torres Aguere planned to vacation in Sydney, Australia and booked her ticket online. It wasn't until she arrived in Sydney, Nova Scotia, that she knew the place existed. Aguere told employees at airport about the mistake and spent the night there, intending to continue her trip the next day. When there were some complications the following day, she suddenly changed her mind and decided to vacation there. "when things happen,you let it happen", she said, "I've made two or three friends already". This is not the first time it has happened and maybe you or I will be next.

1.  Mirita (1608) | 1 year ago |  Well, it appears that besides the inconveniences that she is a very calm individual who takes situations as they come. Good for her, I'm sure that she was frustrated in the beginning,but later on decided that Australia is full of friendly people. Probably, I would try to remain calm too and look for solutions.

3.  OreoCookie3 (18774) | 1 year ago |  I would certainly panic for sure if I ended up in the wrong place. There's no doubt about that. It's good that she had taken it in stride though. She made the best of it and made some friends, and that is a good thing.

| 5. danishcanadian (20673) | 4 weeks ago |  I would do the same thing. If I am there anyway, I would want to look around, and enjoy the opportunity. Besides, with the mix-up, I might be entitled to a free trip at a later date to the place I intended to travel to in the first place.
As for Nova Scotia, I have relatives in Halifax, so depending on how close Sydney is, I might just get on a bus or a train, and go and see them for a bit.
