If translated literally, that would mean "Pig's Nest" with "Baboy" being Pig. It's a satire of anything, especially Philippine lifestyle, culture, and politics. It's popular because it's very funny and most Filipinos could relate to the family being portrayed in this comic. It's being run in our national newspaper, the "Philippine Daily Inquirer" and there have been volumes of books printed featuring this comic cartoon.

Rose Is Rose is my first choice for artwork, especially with the very creative perspective s/he plays with in her(his?)work -
But my absolute favorite isn't printed in dailies - or even just the Sundays - Alan Moore has written many graphical novels (the most famous must be the one made into the movie "Vendetta" - though the movie is in many ways quite different from his work in print
I hear his classic "Watchmen" is also coming out in celluloid, but I am dreading that - having experienced his actual novel, I doubt the movie would even come close.
No, I have experienced too much than to enjoy newspaper funnies as much anymore - I chuckle at a few of them once in a while, but no real literature is being produced in the medium except after paying a few more extra bucks
And it is well worth it.

I started to read it one day when I was bored when we were waiting for the line to move forward at this one store and bought it since I managed to read somewhat of the book already. Then I begin collecting it since I was in middle school up until now.
