How organized are you in your office table?

My desk and drawers usually looks messy hehe... but i don't really mind. It looks messy to other people but I know where my stuffs are. When I work, you can see papers everywhere, I even have some on my lap. But just like you, I always clean up after I finish. In the company I used to work for, we are not allowed to leave any documents on our table. everything must be kept in drawers. Now that I have my own office, I don't have to keep everything but I still organize them in categories so that the next morning, I will know where to start and will not be consfused by the many papers on my desk

It depends upon the nature of office you are holding. I used to handle 40-50 files a day and had to keep the table organised. Racks by the table helped me to keep the files as 'In', 'Out', 'Most Urgent', 'Pending' etc. Office tables are normally big in size, so files and papers can be organised in a better way. Normally, tables at home may not be so big. So, I think, office table at home need more effort to be organised. Perhaps vertical racks can be of help to some extent.

I don't have much on my desk at work. Mostly just my computer, a calculator, my printer. I have another table I keep my mail at and other things so my desk dosen't look so corwded.

I like to keep my offive table neat and tidy. I remove all litter every morning, but tby the time it is closingtime, my table is littered once again. I just put everything into the drawer and leave the table top clean. I clean up the drawer once a month and burn up all the waste.
