What craft have you done when you were a child that you have up to now?

I love crafts. Even as a child I love creating things of my own. I knitted, ,crocheted, drew, painted, made toys out of paper and many more things. I still have the baskets that I made many years ago in my room. I treasure them very much and i don't like to throw then away.

I learned to embroider before I started school. I remember embroidering a set of tea towels for a church fund raiser and they sold. It may not have been because they were so good, but because people knew such a young child had done them, though! I still enjoy embroidery, but don't do it often because I always have something to knit.

I learned to crochet in high school, did it for a while, put it away a LONG time . Now I am back into crochet. Love all the new yarns! SO much improved!! As a child, I drew, painted, and made things with paper. So hmmm, did I ever grow up?? LOL

Grow up? Who wants to grow up?? Grown ups just worry about things and work all the time and never have any fun. Forget growing up!

When I was a kid, I did little crafts like shrink a dink's. I think that was my favorite thing, and the "shrink a dink necklace" is still somewhere at my grandparents. My mom has other crafts I've done such as er.. well i can't even remember the name of it.

Woops, I guess I should have described it. It's not the sun catcher's that are plastic and you can paint, I've done those too.. I'm talking about something you paint, that's not very thick... you can make any kind of animal as their are stencil like things, I can't remember what they are though... My mom finished one I did one time. I wanted it to be a different color, but my mom finished it in brown.. oh well..

I have cross stitched for a really long time--I have a couple of my pieces smaller ones, but most I have given away as gifts. I have just learned how to crochet and I have been experimenting with afghans lately---I am sure I will go back to cross stitch soon cause I love creating the pretty pictures.

I didn't really craft as a child. I did needlepoint some ornaments when I was just outta college that my mom put on the tree until she had to stop decorating the year before she went into the health care center.

I learned to crochet when i was about 10 years old, and since then have expanded my skills to the point there is not much i can't make. I love to crochet, and i love it even more when someone else appreciates my art.

Well, I can't say I love crafts but I used to do a lot of counted cross-stitch. I personally do not have any of them. After I finish them, I give them away to family and friends.
