It’s sort of like MSN but it only allows colleagues. Our company is really funny in some ways. It doesn’t encourage people to speak on the phone, but it encourages everyone to use IM, even bosses IM their subordinates to talk about something. Is your company the same? I personally like using the phone better, it just have that personal touch better! *smiles*.

My boss is long distance from me. It costs me 2 to 3 dollars each time I call him. So the internet saves me money. I only call when my computer is down. Otherwise, it gets too expensive. He did find an 800 number one time for free group meeting when a bunch of us who had never met had a chance to all talk. That was really neat. I was hoping we could do that once a month. Then the economy went bad and we never had another conference call. Too bad, I loved sharing ideas. Take care.

It's OK for us to use MSN in the office. As sometimes we contact with others by it. It seems it's already a popular way to communicate with other people relates work by MSN. Sometimes it's much more convenient than email because we can have a live chat. I love China

I work for myself, and I work from home, so I guess my "office communicater" would be when i forward an e-mail to my one co-worker, my husband. LOL However, it's an interesting concept to have something similar in offices. I've never heard of an IM network only set up for certain offices, but technology being what it is, anything is possible.
