| My new wheelchair imploded! | | | | Just after midnight, my new chair imploded. There were sparks and everything. My PCA thought there was going to be fire. Luckily I was away from the chair in my bed when this occurred. My PCA was just plugging Pumpkin (name of my new chair) in for the night. Now he’s dead. I’ll call the repair shop on Monday to see if they can schedule an emergency pickup for him. Poor dear, barely a month old and I’ve only had him 9 days and now he’s demised. He had a good life running those 21.4 miles with me, all too often at top speed, even if he can’t be revived. Which, of course, I hope he can after a few days with the mechanics and some much needed TLC. Rest in peace or pieces; I await you’re resurrection. Good thing Sheila (my old chair) was still around to pick up the slack. That way in can still have a life, while waiting for my other chair to be repaired. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Wow, that's something, cripfemme! I'm glad that you weren't hurt during the implosion. How long do you think you'll have to wait before you find out if Pumpkin can be resurrected? | | | | | | | cripfemme (7247)

| | I'm going to call the wheelchair repair place tomorrow. I'll make them come get him, even though he's not on their schedule (or least I'll try my damnest to make them come get him tomorrow). Then we'll see what they say. I'm so sad! | | | | | | | | | Capital One® Credit Cards See if you pre-qualify in 60 sec. Find a card with features you want! www.CapitalOne.com | add comment | | | |

| | I am so glad you weren't hurt. They don't make things like they used to. Sheila is older but obviously she was well made. I hope Pumpkin 2 is a safer chair. | | | | | | | | | | Los Angeles Auto School Accelerate Your Future & Train As A UTI Auto Tech Near Los Angeles! UTI.edu/RanchoCucamonga | add comment | | | |
