One easy way to cut calories is to limit your intake of pre-sweetened beverages such as soft drinks, fruit juice, and iced tea and to avoid adding sugar to coffee and tea. Sweetened beverages can contribute lots of extra calories, without providing any nutrients. Dieters may also want to avoid high-fat desserts and snack foods, as these foods pack lots of calories. Although it is tempting to switch to "fat-free" foods, be aware that these foods often contain a high amount of calories despite the fact that they don't contain fat. Happy post

interesting topic. Perhaps a good way to avoid fattening food is to get to feeling to go for none fattening food. Unfortunately, fattening food is a lot more common everywhere we go. It seems the most common choices for weight loss is to get hooked on less sugar and less fats. The following seems to be the most common choices: 1. practicing water-intensive fasting (drink as much water and as little food as possible) 2. eating high-protein with less uric acid and fats. These are usually white meat such as chicken, turkey and vegetable protein sources such as tofu, soya, mushrooms etc. 3. exercising or engaging in any high physical activity to burn extra sugar that becomes body fat. 4. resisting the urge to resort to food as a source of comfort. People seem to eat more to compensate for stress, lack of sleep, depression or even boredom. Perhaps the interesting thing is that we all know what must be done, but it seems most of us are challenged by the choices we have made... There is a saying: "What is popular is not always right; what is right is not always popular." Any suggestions on how we could all maintain healthy weight? Cheers :)
