rumor like you hear a juicy tidbit from a friend, who heard it from another friend, who heard it from a person in the hall, who read it on a note passed in math class, which was written by somebody who probably just made it up.
so rumor is created and it has reached you, what is your first reaction to it?
if it is about your friend or someone you know, how will you react to it?

Most rumors come from a little fact and a lot of lie. I will try to find the fact and discredit the lie.

Well I do pay attention and try to find out the truth behind it. There is a saying that when there is smoke, there is fire. Better be cautions than be surprised. Even if it was just pass on and on and on y somebody, there has to be a root somewhere. Well unless someone is really trying to destroy a person and intentionally spreads rumors.
Even if I do pay attention I would not always believe. A person is innocent unless proven guilty.
Happy myLotting!

I usually don't respond to rumors as that is exactly what they are, rumors. It is most likely something someone made up because they where bored, angry with someone or just like to make trouble. If a rumor about a friend reaches me I will not take it to heart or get upset about it but I will mention it to my friend telling him/her that it is a rumor I have heard and just wanted to alert them to it and remind them that a rumor is usually an untrue statement.

nope, i don't pay attention to rumors. i've read from a book that if you truly care about the person being talked about, you should ask him/her directly about the rumor and not pass it on to somebody else just because you feel that you're gonna get answers.
