Are you constantly getting calls from Presidential political campaigns?

Do you get phone calls from the Obama or McCain
political campaigns asking for money support or votes?
How do you handle those calls?
Do you think it's fair for candidates to
be allowed to call people at home
when they don't really want to be
bothered?
What's your thoughts on the matter?

Yes I do because I am on the no call list and I think this should be for everyone,I just tell them that I dont like either candidate and they have more money than I do so why would I want to give my hard earned money to them, maybe they could send me some. That usually gets rid of them fairly fast.you have a great night.

And, I'm pretty sure, money is all
they're after anyway.

It all depends on who they are calling about. I did talk to one lady that called the other day. She asked me if I wanted to do any volunteer work on Obama's campaign in a town about 45 minutes from here. If they call about McCain I hang up.

Babies are not always good with travel.
Though my daughter used to love car rides.

I get a lot of calls during the week.
I am partial to them as my wife and I are polictically active sort of.
So the calls for the most part are welcomed.
I get calls mostly for local politics though.
I have done a few surveys/polls etc on these calls as well.
I love hearing the reuslts as I am part of them a lot.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

A phone survey would be nice.
Those are a fun way to break things up.
And they're not asking for money.
So that's cool with me!

I wouldnt mind doing surveys if thats what they would want,I think that would be better than asking for campaign funds.

Hello beauty queen. Thank you for the discussion that I get to know that presidential political campaigns make calls to people for donation and sponsor. It is interesting to know about this. But anyway, I think that it is a good way for them to get some donation on their side, but it is hard to say that the ordinary people would like it completely if there are too many of this kind of calls, which sounds a little annoying. But there is one thing that I am interested to know about, which is, if the one who gets your donation and finally wins the campaign, will you later get something like bonus from him? It is a silly question that I have raised.

i dont live in the US, so i am unable to say that i have those calls, but maybe what you can do is to say...
no thanks.. i am supporting the other party...
lol...
then maybe they will stop bothering you.
and maybe if you do make a money support, you should not do it there or they will call you again and again and soon you would have donated more then you wanted.
maybe they do that when they are really desperate?

I'm sure they would call back if they
thought there was a money incentive to
do so and then I'd never hear the end of them!

Yep!
At this point if a person is undecided
then phone calls aren't going to sway
their vote.
And, if they have already picked a candidate
the phone calls are just an annoyance.

My husband has been getting calls but since he's not always home when they call I just tell them that he isn't interested in surveys and sorts. They are usually nice about it.
