Google phone? Have you seen these?

I think that many people would be interested in this product since so many people use Google and like it. I like how it looks but I've never had any type of mobile phone and I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon since I don't really need one.

I have heard about them, but I had not seen one yet. I think that it is a fad just like every other cool phone that phone manufacturers come out with. I will stick with the phone I got free with my plan.

I heared about the mobile. The name of the mobile is ANDROID. The special feature of this mobile is, it is a open source software. Google and the US leader in mobile T-Mobile have developed this phone.
Since it is a open source, anyone can develop add-ons like mozilla firefox. In most of the factors it is somewhat similer to iphone. It peculiar feature is web browsing. No other phone will competete with this. It has a 3.2MP camera. Audio and video clarity is superb.
The disadvantage in both iphone and in Android mobile is video recording facility is not available.
When comming to price, Android is 20$ less than iphone in US.

No, I have not yet.. I will be finding out more on this. The Internet stays giving out new information..

Ever since Apple came out with the Iphone the pressure for the Telephone Companies to open up their service has been tremendous. Everyone realizes that they cannot keep their turf to themselves and must one day open up. Google wisely realizes this and is jumping into the next big thing. Cheers!!

You know what? Do you ever think things are just getting out of hand? I mean, all these gadgets and phones and this and that - to me it is just getting out of hand. So many so often and then they all go out of "style" and new ones emerge, updates and add-ons and no one really even used all that the first one could do. And do they really need all that stuff? Seems to me there is so much going on "in your hand" that the rest of life gets neglected. Not to mention, I just plain can't keep up with it all.

I don't know. You know everyone will or might rush out to get one just like they wanted a Apple because of all the hype about it. That is what will push sales is people thinking it is the latest and greatest even when it might be a flop.I myself wouldn't by a Apple or G1 because they are to easily stolen,broke, or damaged and so a waste of money if that happens yeah love the idea of technology at my fingertips but not at that cost.

i saw them on a site when i came across the news that there were some photos leaked og the google phone and they looked great. it be something fantastic that google will come up with and it be something technological way ahead of the others and i don't know about the price but maybe the one you listed is a good one and will check it when it comes in market.

I think iphone will rule for quite some time, even if google gets along iphone will have its own market!! Their market segments seem to be different, google offers more applications to the users but iphone is trendy and fashionable!! Google phone will be more a threat to traditional blackbeey or palmtop devices which uses mirosoft mobile or nokias symbian operating system!! If the OS android offered by google becomes a success we can see lot of revolution in mobile market!! But I am pretty sure this is not going to happen in a short time, may be it will take atleast 2 more years!!
