Do you prefer to respond to discussions with fewer responses or with more responses, or do you not have a preference and do both?
I'd rather respond to a discussion with no responses or only a few because with the ones that have dozens of responses, what I want to reply has most likely already been said! I do sometimes put my two cents in and respond to these types of discussions, but I prefer the newer ones or those not having as many responses.
I know they are supposed to earn more with the more responses, but why keep repeating the same answer to discussions?

Hi Bethany, I'm the same, I prefer to respond with only few responses, than those who have a lot. But sometimes it depends if its my friends discussion and even theres a lot of responses already, I still try to make an effort to respond. I agree about repeating the same answer, I guess some people just want it to express their own opinion even its been said already. And I know some people that don't bother to read the other responses before they response, so for sure that they didn't even know that its been said the similar. Thanks!

Yes I am guilty of posting a similar response because I didn't read what others had to say... Sometimes I rush too much or the discussion has 100 responses and I don't have time to read them all but still do want to post my answer...

well it doesn't really matter to me. i respond to discussions that i find interesting. the number of responses it gets is not something i care about. i don't really read the other responses as well cause i believe each of us is unique. we all say what we think about the topic in the discussion. just like this discussion, i think there are people who already said something like what i'm saying. but then again, i believe you want to know how many of us thinks this way too. cheers ;p

I will do both. I like to answer questions posed by especially new Mylotters (to welcome them) and my friends. But any discussions that seem interesting to me will likely get a response if I see them.

I have it set up so whenever a friend of mine starts a discussion, I get an email. I respond to all the posts I can, the ones that I have something to add, I don't know if I am the first or the 21st and I don't care. As long as I can add to the discussion or put in my two cents in, I am happy.

well, i think i don't have a preference. i will respond a discussion if it is interesting and i think i can add something there, regardless how many responses it has already got. anyway, somehow i find myself responding the topic with less or zero responses more than that ones with lots of responses. one thing, i like to be the first respondents. i like to be the first page of discussions LOL.

I'll respond to anything, sometimes I'll scroll the zero response bin and see if anything peaks my interest but mostly I'll just stick with friends since we all have something in common.

I like to respond to either kind of discussions. It really doesn't matter to me if they have plenty or few responses. If I find the discussion interesting, I would respond even if my response would end up in page 5
. There are a lot of interesting topics to respond to. Sometimes even when the discussion is an old one already, I would respond to it too. That's one thing I like about mylot... they never close the discussion no matter how many the responses are, or how old the discussion may be!

Hello, bethany,I have the same feeling as you,I think when one post has a great responding, some one wiot see mine, and I prefer to responsing the posts with none reply,I feel this make me fell better.
And for another reason, when I came to mylot at the beginning,I posted many threads, but ther was a bit reply, and I felt so dispointed that I even didn't came to mylot for month, and I think if we all response the new user's question, they will love mylot, and we will be friends, and my earning will improve, too.I love mylot, then I wish everyone at mylot love it too.
