Our Dogs they come from out side and they knock the door like human beings at any odd hours and upon opening the door without even looking at you they will go to their favorite resting palce and they lye down there to relax! They don't feel that they have disturbed You ! same way if some dog barks out side and by chance if they are in side the house all of them they become restless and want to go out. They will scratch on the Door if it is closed, till it is not opened. They bark and make lot of noice till they don't go out! They will all rush out like rockets the moment the door is opened! Some times this type of behaviour from them make me wonder if they are taking us for granted and they are behaving like our masters instead ! Do you have any such experience when you feel that your dogs are taking you for granted?please share! Thanks!

LOL...I think dogs have spent eons learning to 'domesticate' and train us to do their bidding. When they want to go inside or outside, we open the door. When they are hungry or thirsty, we provide. If they want to play, we oblige. If they want to sample our food, we share (sometimes). When they are hurt, we heal. Just when we get a little resentful, when our days run out before the work does, something happens. We get lonely or sad, and our dogs give companionship. We get happy or silly, and our dog rejoices. We forget them...and they forgive. We go to sleep wondering why we were so irritated with them, they sleep next to us to keep us safe. Tomorrow the cycle will start all over...and we wouldn't want it any other way, would we?

Dogs make our lives so much better in this (sometimes) insane world. I think they communicate telepathically to swap idea and perfect how they train us...lol. Nice to meet you too!

I don’t think dog ever take for granted there master’s. If they act like that it is because sometimes we tend to spoil them. My dog have same attitude like your dog but I never feel taken for granted, to tell the truth I feel that he needs me more than anything else. My dog always ask permission to me if he wants to go outside, he will bark at me and then look at the door. Sometimes, he will sneak out. It’s funny because he will walk slowly to the door. He knows how to go outside but don’t know how to go inside. If he wants to go inside he will knock and back at the door.
