2. kun2349 (7374) | 1 year ago | So far for the 1-2 times i experienced power interruption, i din switch off anything.. hehe^_^ I just leave them alone so that when the power is back, i need not switch on everything again.. lol=D But luckily the times when i experienced power interruption is during 7+ till 8pm, so it's not too bad because we are not eating nor getting ready to sleep just yet^_^ All we do was to gather outside our house and after a few mintues, the power will be back again^_^ haha

4. Arkie69 (1104) | 1 year ago | If it's at night the first thing I do is stumble over about 3 or 4 things trying to find a flash light or candle. I always put the flash light right where I can find it easy but when I need it it's never there. My Grand Daughter has all kind of candles all over the place but they are not easily found in the dark. One day I am going to set me up a battery back up that will come on if the grid fails.

pehpot (2445) | 1 year ago | he he or just put a candle and a match in a place you least expected it to be. like in a casserole? in that way it would be easier for you to find it

5. Chevee (3643) | 1 year ago | If I am in bed I stay there. If I am up and it is night I fumble through the house trying to find a candle, a lamp, or a flashlight. Most of the time I fumble to the kitchen and turn on the stove I have a gas stove. Then I light an oil lamp I keep for that ocassion. I look outside to see what is going on. Then I just sit and wait or get on my cell phone and see who else power is out.

7. adihindu (1193) | 1 year ago | Hahaha. I don't have kids. And also there is no power cut in my city. My bedroom is very well ventilated. When ever there is a powercut we have to make some backups to have a uninterruptable power supply.

8. Margarit (1635) | 1 year ago | Well, since we don't have a kids around and we are all big enough to manage our own probably I will look for flash light and perhaps a candle and have chat with my family waiting till the power back on. This is normally what were doing if we are still up that time.

9. SuzyQ12 (1893) | 1 year ago | Usually I wait to see if the power will come back on momentarily. When it doesn't, I get the candles and flashlights ready. I will usually get a book out and read or a household chore, that can be done with no electricity. Makes you wonder how older people survived. We have all gotten used to the advantage of electricity, and take it for granted now. I'm just thankful I do not have to use a outhouse.... Hope you have a great day!

10. belk89 (1039) | 1 year ago | Usually when there is power interruption i waited for it to come back. I usually go out and talk with friends and if it happens during night time. I spend time talking with my parents then after an hour of waiting if it didnt came back thats the time i will be preparing my bed and wash my face before going to bed.
