Bedouin Soundclash? They are very good. They play a reggae/rock/pop style of music. Very eclectic sounding. check them out...

I can't say I've ever heard of them, but I HAVE heard of The Clash. Totally different, though...

surprisingly enough, they are from Canada. They have a very good vibe. Great music.

they're good - favourite song I've heard is 12:15 Lullaby, but The Night Hears My Song and Rudeboy don't cry have got the most UK airplay (botyh good songs but Lullaby is better. The Lock Up (used to be on BBC Radio 1 9pm-11pm tuesday nights, now the punk show and stuck in the early hours of the morning after midnight) played them last year before most people here had heard of them. The Night Hears My Song is there best/most known song here as it's been used in an a advert for T-mobile, it got a lot of commercial mainstreem daytime airplay as a result. a rant I posted elsewhere at the time "When The Night Feals My Song is finally getting mainstream UK airplay on commercal radio - thanks to the T-mobile advert. Shame it takes a commercial for the people in charge to notice something this good - Mike Davies on The Lock up (radio one punk/ska/etc show after 9:00 pm) has been playing them for ages. lullaby is a much better song and new - but I bet Virgin won't play it because it's not as commercal. http://www.myspace.com/bedouin " I need to get the album. Jay (the singer) is a Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros fan & I've heard he talks about them & covers them live (Joe's one of his musical inspirations) He did a cover of Johnny Appleseed with Scott Shields (ex-Mescalero) when they were recording a radio one session together but I don't think that was broadcast (just done in rehersal or something)
