Sneaky bag of crisps could have caused so much trouble.....

for my Dad! I had to put this in laughing because I nearly cried laughing when my Dad told me this. He is in Italy at the moment with my Mum on holiday, and he phoned me up today. He said that at the airport he bought a huge bag of crisps (potato chips) for the plane journey, he put them in his bag to take on the plane. Him and my Mum were seated by the door of the plane, so the plane sets off and goes up in the air, it levels out and the hostesses get out of their seats when there is a massive explosion. My Dad said he fell out of his seat in fright, thinking the door was coming off, my Mum squealed and a few of the passengers were a bit nervous. The air hostess looked at my Dad and said "have you got a packet of crisps in your bag?" My Dad told her he had, and she laughed and said "well I think you will find that you may not have anymore" When my Dad looked in his bag he found that his crisps had exploded in his bag and that is what the bang was!! Have you ever had anything explode on you before now? Have you ever had any scares on a plane before?
