What is your favoriate foreign country? |
| |
| I like USA, Japan and south korea for people that I know in my real life. Initially, my American teacher really impressed me. He got his bachelor's degree in Dartmouth college and his master's degree in Yale. Before I met him, I had already thought he was a genius, lol. Also, he had never minded taking an extra minute to help us. Well, then, he was a pretty funny guy. I still remember his first class well. "I am very good looking, huh?" He asked, "Yup" I said, " How honest you are!", he said! I didn't really think so though, it was pretty funny in my opinion! Besides, I like Japan and south korea since the people that I know are very polite and have good manners. Thus, my best friend comes from south korea. On the other hand, the United Kingdom is a great nation. I notice that there are British people who are modest as well as kind in mylot. But the guys that I know in my university are kind of proud. They kind of look down upon others. Russian people in my university are kind of messy. But I don't judge others! Finally, I am so ignorant that I kind of know few about other countries. Which foreign country do u feel the best? | | | | | |

| | My favorite foreign country, eh? I don't think the United States counts as a foreign country for me since I live there. ; ) I don't think I have a favorite, I just like them all equally. I'm with you, I don't know much about most other foreign countries either. So far, I think I like Japan and China because they're the only ones I know at least a bit about. Too bad I can't consider the United States a foreign country because that would be my favorite ~ | | | | | | |

| | Since the only foreign country that I've ever visited in person was Mexico, I'm hardly qualified to answer your question. If you're willing to accept what I've learned from books, the two countries I'd most like to visit are Australia and Canada. Oh, which countries do I think the best was the question, not which ones would I like to visit. I can't say which are the best when I've not been there. May I say why I'd like to visit the two countries I picked? I'd like to visit Canada because it is close. Canada has been a good neighbor, unlike Mexico who sends us tons of drugs. Canada is a beautiful country, according to the pictures, and the people there speak English, except for Quebec. I'd like to go to Australia because she, also, has been a friend to the USA. From what I read, the country is much like our southwest. I'd like to go see this for myself. Australia is also another English speaking country, although their diction might be hard for us Americans to understand. Please don't think that I believe that countries where English is not their principal language are in anyway inferior. In fact, I much admire those who speak multiple. It is just that at almost 74 years of age, I don't feel bad about taking the easy road. | | | | | | |

| | I think Australian speak funny Enlgish. In fact, it was my misunderstanding. Once upon a time, an Australian asked me that " What year are you doing?" I have been very confused until now. What did he mean? lol. Anyway, I gave a irrelevant answer! Also, Australian accent is really exaggerated! The Australian guy told me that " I'm going back to Austrialia "to die"." I was too suprised to say anything at the time. After thinking it over, I got what he sadi! He might say " I'm going back to Austrilia today." Thus, it is kind of hard for me to understand them. lOl I don't know why. Most of my former classmates have been to Austrilia further their study! Maybe life is cheaper there! If u travel to Austrilia, u will see lots of Chinese overseas students there. My classmates told me that they felt they were in China especially when they walked in the street. | | | |

| | I'd prefer to see the Chinese in China, I think. That way, I should learn more about Chinese culture. Should I ever get to Australia, it would be to see the Aussies, especially the Aboriginals. Yes, I agree that those from Australia do talk funny. They speak an exaggerated form of British English. Of course, they think we talk funny. I've often wondered why the language of the USA is still called English. We have strayed pretty far from our mother tongue. | | | |

| | I don't know think there's a country that is specifically "better" than others, however, I had a wonderful time visiting India. As a vegetarian, the food was amazing. I enjoyed the quick-paced walking, the kind people, and the culture. The extreme poverty of some places was very difficult, as well as the beggers, and the crowds. But all in all, I think it's a wonderful place! | | | | | | |

| | My favourite foreign country would have to be Cyprus! I have a lot of happy memories, fondness for Cyprus it was the first country I flew too, it it a very friendly place, English is widely spoken, it's got so much to see and do there, very scenic, beautiful crystal blue sea, lovely beaches, plenty of night life if you want it, and plenty of quiet spots too. I would love to go back there one day and the locals are very very friendly too! | | | | | | |
