Do you prefer silver or gold?

When buying jewelry do you usually buy silver or gold? I prefer gold, most of the silver I have was given to me as gifts. I not able to afford expensive gold, but I usually will buy 14k. What's your preference?

Hi sudalunts, I like both, but of course I prefer to have gold one because each year the value of gold are getting higher and it will be a good investment or savings once you need it. I don't have much gold also because they expensive though, but if I can I rather buy gold than silver.

Well, I am allergic to jewelery. But I do like Silver much better them Gold. I like white Gold also!

I don't really have a preference. My hubby and I have a gold wedding set. I have some silver earrings. I like the look of white gold. Which I guess is close to silver. I guess i tis whatever I am in the mood for. But gold is classic.
