Cross-posted from: http://clarusvisum.blogspot.com/2008/10/mccain-in-2006-acorn-is-makes-america.html ===== Here's a shocker--in light of all the criticism of Obama's alleged 'ties' to ACORN, video has just surfaced of John McCain speaking at an ACORN event (don't know exactly what event it is--if someone can fill me in, let me know), and laying some very high praise on them. See for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJ9wy2MI1NI (Caption: The McCain '08 sign in the crowd near the end of the video is just too perfect, isn't it?) Hypocrisy? In the McCain/Palin campaign? My flabber is positively gasted.

Acorn is what made America BROKE. Thanks acorn for pushing for laws that made people who shouldn't have gotten mortgages. Thanks a lot guys, for, for putting us in the situation where the FED got the perfect opportunity for a power gran. thanks acorn, for setting it up so that if Obama win's we'll see a repeat of the 2000 elections where we didn't know for months who our president was and when we finally did, it was a presidency under perpetually suspicion and bitterness by the opponents. THANKS ACORN! we need more groups like you! Nice work folks!

Loans are loans, period. whether they came from the 2 F's or private institutions, there was a nation wide push lobbied by ACORN to get sub prime loans so everyone could have a piece of the housing pie.

"Acorn is what made America BROKE." Absolute nonsense. First Fannie and Freddie are blamed for everything, now ACORN? Give me a break. Here's the real story: http://www.mcclatchydc.com/251/story/53802.html

I don't know what event this was. I just heard about it earlier today. But, I have to say " My flabber is positively gasted." too LOL Not really. I'm still looking for a word or phrase to describe flip flopping for Republicans. Got any ideas?

Heehee. You gasted your flabber. I love it! I would comment, but I just saw another post from my friend Anniepa about the same thing. You and I both know what I would say anyway. It's just typical isn't it?
