Why do the sign above my avatar be changed again?

Hi,every one on mylot.today when i turn on my mylot,suddenly i find that the sign above my avatar is changed.its changes is follow:the number of the five-pointed-star is from 9 to 8 and the color of the five-pointed-star is from red to yellow.why is that.what's wrong with me?i wonder why it is.if you have met this problem,please tell me the truth.thank you sincerely.is ti because i go against the rules on mylot?is it a punishment or warning given by mylot for me?who can help me to get an answer?

hi wangkai.
The color and number of the star depends on how many positive and negative ratings you get. it depends on the user and your response. we can not please everybody, so maybe sometimes other people dont agree with what you said. but dont be bothered by this since it will be really hard to get all people to agree with you.
Just stay happy and keep on posting. I'll give you a positive rating now.

Hello wangkai, it's just good thing you open-up this kind of question in a discussion, because personally I experience having green star change to red, but personally I don't know what that stands for. Now after reading this discussions and some responses below the the discussion, I feel enlightened now. thanks a lot...happy mylotting.

mayrah you should read all the stuff in mylot not just the rules as it tells you all about the stars and the ratings in there, I dont know why new people do not read that as it willhelp you so much. if your star went up a lot of us have rated you positive and thats very good, your rating also went up, if you hit your red star with yourmouse it will show a higher rating than you had on the green star which is very nice.

hi wangkai no you did nothing wrong , and its not a punishement, its just that some people here get a kickout of hitting the negative key for everyone, and thus pushing down your star f rom nine to an eight. I offended someone and overnight they pushed my ten down to a 6 but I got it back up. mylotters are supposed to rate their other mylotters by giving a positive rating a plus sign or a negative rating a minus. but they often break the rule that only insulting or flamming responses should be marked with a minus. youare not supposed to minus someone just because you do not agree with their response.sorry they did that to you but I know most mylotters will give you a plus. I know i will.
