would you prefer to write using a pen with blue or black ink??

when at work, what colour of pen ink did u use esp for endorsing and writing on documents. i would prefer to write in blue as i am able to see clearly which are my writings or amendments. with most documents printout already in black, writing in black ink makes it even harder to see the comments or amendments on them. there are numerous time when i miss out the amendments made by my boss as he prefers to write in black and ended up not making the changes and was ticked off by him. when i vet my subordinate's documents, i would do so using blue ink to give him no excuse that he did not see my comments or remarks. However, i also noticed that nowadays more and more are using black ink pen esp those in the higher mgt. i do not know if it is becasue they find blue ink too common and wanted black to stand out as it looks cool.

Hehe,I will pick the black ink.I like writing,although we need not paper homework now.We also do the homework on computer .But we must record the experiment ,and the black ink will stay for ever.So we using the black pen or black ballpen.To my taste,I think the words with black ink look very strong and vigorous.

yes. black looks tougher than blue, this i must admit. but i feel blue is appropriate for all documents while black may not be...thanks for your comments

hehe, by the way,i am a chinese,the black ink is very for chinses characters,do you know brush pen which was used to write chinese characters?we are always using black ink while we are writing,and to me,i am always using black ink,i love this color,but and the same time,when we write in english,i think blue is better,so i choose the color depends on which language i wtite in,do you like the chinese characters writen with brush pen? maybe i can write some for you,i have practised it for a long time .i can write some for you if you like .

I prefer black. I think the reason why top management uses black pen is because it looks professional than other color of pen. That's the reason too why I use black pen. But, if I'm gonna give some remarks, like you do, I use red pen.

i normally make my remarks in blue as i find red a bit inappropriate just like a teacher marking the exam script of a student. not really suitable for corporate world. while i think black is cool, i still feel blue is more appealing for documentation uses.

For me, for most purposes, I prefer Black over Blue. It just seems to me like the Black looks more professional and more smooth looking as well. A lot of it could be I know which brands work best for me so I try and stick with them more as well.

yes. black looks cool and fierce. maybe it is needed to be in the corporate and commercial world but i find blue more pleasing and friendly. thank you for replying

oh. i am in china now and i noticed it. when i was back home in singapore and malaysia, we used blue ink generally for most documents.

I'm a student and can only use blue. But if I had the choice of choosing black or blue I would still stay with blue. It's more easier and lighter to read.

Well I would prefer to writ with black ink because it stands out better especially when filling out job applications or when your in high school and hsve to write a paper black ink is the best so of them all I don't think you should ever use blue ink because it wouldn't stand out as good as black ink.

yes but it would make the documents dull. dun u think most of the documents are in black and white and using a black pen does nothing to help. i tot blue would stand up too. thank you for your response

i'm a student don't do any docment stuffs right now. but as student when i write my jouranals i prefer to write using both black and blue pens. this helps me to clear the difference between headings and the content.more over i use black pens while writing the important words in content.but during exams i use only blue ones. using double colour is time consuming. and as you said using blue pen makes a difference with the copies which are usually printed out in black so it helps me too to identify which copy is mine....so like you i too prefer to write in blue pen

yes. i still remmebered that when i was a student and would copy my lecture notes in various colour, blue, black, red and green..ontop of that using highlighters to emphasize certain wordings or headings..those were the days.

in reality i never put so much mind about the pen colour that i write...i think normally i will use black one but this is not a rule such as it dpends from the moment and also the pen which it is much comfortable to write in that situation..i am not that ones who are really fanatic about documents all of the same clours or to use a colour to write...some things as title and other things in other colour ..heh it takes too much time...

i believe that writing in black ink is more professional than writing in blue ink. i have had a lot of people tell me that i am wrong. regardless i believe black is still the best. it's more slimming to your signature. and black ink will do the job for you.

i go with black..i don't know, it's just formal. especially if you're filling up important documents. ;o) i've been using black ever since i started using a pen..;o)

well. i guess u must be a teenager if i guess correctly. during my time, my teacher would punished me for using any other coloured pen apart from blue. i guess the rules were changed over time. btw, i was schooling in an asian school so that may be diff from yours.

I pick the blue. Dark ink pen writting seems too dull to me. Especially you are writting on a white paper. Really a black and white. Maybe good for formal documentation. On the other hand, blue ink pen writting seems active. It adds some color to the writting world. I have the same observation on management people use mostly blank ink pen. Maybe it represents some kind of power?

yes, i would choose blue too as it made writing and amendments more easily visible. black ink only add confusion to the already black and white documents. i thnk u are right, black may signify some form of power to the mgt.

AT homes i use all kinds of pens (blue of black).
At college i use black pen to write questions and blue pen to answer it.
Writing with blue black combinations sounds nice and tidy page so that u get interests to read when u look at it.of course black looks cool but blue too looks cools when black looks hot.

yes, both are fine but i guess blue is more accepted universally. i still enjoy writing in blue. some days ago, i saw someone writing with a yellow ink pen that can be hardly seen. he may find its cool but the colour does not match the purpose of having a pen. a pen is to write in clear ink so that others can see clearly not when i have to bring the documents close to my eyes in order to see..
