and you
gather with respect
gathering song
lots of things ready at the same time
made up
too little
too much
Gathering, gathering, what shall I gather?

Where do I start? My chives, my oregano, my marjorum?
Gathering, gathering, what shall I gather? (Refrain)
Milkweed fluff, evening primrose blossoms, dandelion roots, soapwort roots
Refrain
Sometimes there is almost nothing to gather and sometimes there is almost too much. Especially on a day when you need to go to work, there is easily too much.
Have you ever had too much stuff to harvest or gather? Have you often had not enough? Do you feel you have just the right amount? Do you gather from the wild with respect for the resourses such as only taking 1/3 or 1/7 or some other number? If you harvest, do you save seed? What do you gather and what do you do with it? If none of the above pertains to you, do you ever make up little songs in your head about everyday things? The above one has too many syllables to work out very well, but I like the refrain. Take care.
