When you went out Halloweening, (trick or treating) did you use to soap windows and toilet paper houses if they did not pass out candy? Or were not home?

Oh no way!! I would never do that to anyone! That's being down right rude and mean and there's no way I could do that to anyone. My brother and I did a trick on our parents one time, we lived on a horse shoe area and there were houses all the way around even in the middle and one time we went trick or treating and went to every house all around the horse shoe and came back to our house and knocked on the door and mom didn't reconize us and we went around again and came home and knocked on the door and mom answered again and says, you two look just like my son and daughter! We started laughing and at once we took off our disguises and screamed "Mom! It is us!!" and we had a good ole laugh then!!

Ok I may go to hell on this one for admitting my naughtyness. We did use soap one year just because. Just because it was Halloween. I can blame it on outside influences and will..lol All in all, we were good kids but someone had this brilliant idea to soap windows. Once I became a homeowner and had our windows soaped, I remember how difficult it was to get it off. So I also felt guilty many years later. We didn't tp anyone's house. Guess we couldn't afford the extra tp.

I actually was a good kid. Never gave my parents any problems. We only did this one year but it was one year too many. We used bars of soap so am assuming Ivory. Someone thought it would be funny and at the time I guess it was.

Well, showing regret is a very good thing! Hard work getting it off the windows... what kind of soap did you use?

We didn't celebrate Halloween back in Australia when I was a child so we pretty much ran amok doing these types of things whenever the mood struck us. Candy didn't even come into it! I was busted once or twice for throwing eggs off bridges for example and we also used to put vaseline on doorknobs and silly things like that. Nothing too hardcore but at the time we felt like little criminals!

Hahahaha. Toilet papering was not something we knew of back then and it is probably a good thing we didn't! By the way I am not even going to try to guess what other things happened on that night you have shared because the little voice in my head is telling me not to!

Second Honeymoon.. I am over do for the second honeymoon. I have a story of what I did that was bad... hmm. I was not a kid. It was not Halloween.....My ex-sister in laws were in college. I was pregnant with my first son. We went to a fraternity and did the inside of it ( Kitchen) while the guys were all passed out "drunk" in the living room. We did put Vaseline on the door handles, toilet papered the Whole kitchen... there was some other bad things that they did, I will not say. what they were .. but, I was not part of ,,, We wrote down the phone number and left and called them... they had to go into the Kitchen to answer the phone,,LOL

Well, it was BAD enough that I felt it was very disgusting, and said I would not be a part of it!

Nope I was pretty good. Never soaped or tp'd anything. Guess that made me boring. I just dressed up and collected candy. Or sometimes coins for UNICEF. No candy, no porch lights, I'd just move on to the next house. Teaching my daughter to do the same.

Always safety first! What I liked the Best is when my church would have a Harvest party for all the kids. I would bring my boys there knowing that there was no fear of tainted candy. They did not want any scary customs. It was a very fun Evening!

I don't recall ever doing anything like that. But of course, we were told that if the light was not on, DO NOT go to that house. So, we knew that if the porch light was on, there were people home and they would have candy. That was a long time ago, though. People don't seem to follow the same rules these days. I have several teenagers come by the house after 11 every year. It's not always the same kids but, still, my porch light is off, it is past curfew for these kids, and it kind of ticks me off that they are that inconsiderate.

Well, not only that, these kids are 17 or 18 years old! I mean really, I stopped trick or treating when I was maybe 10 or 11.

I did not do many of those types of things when I was young because I was afraid my parents would find out and tan my hide. The only mischevious thing I can remember was when I was in jr high and we ran down the street and forked our classmate's yard. We knew he had to mow the next day and that he would kill us when he had to go out and pick up the 200 plastic forks sticking up all over the lawn. He ended up thinking it was rather funny and had to admit it was easier than getting toilet paper out of the trees.

i pulled quite a few stunts in my youth but none were directed at someone. Scare tactics were a different story. nothing seemed as funny as startling or scaring someone. Come to think of it I still do that but have to move fast if I don't want you to punch me for it.

Hi louise! No, I wasn't naughty at all. I was curious and I wanted to grow up real fast so I can take care of myself because nobody wanted to. But now that I am an adult, I'm a little bit naughty. Not very much but I like to experience a lot of things. But I don't like hurting ither people's feelings. I am naughty for fun and excitement. LOL
