Why is my cat so interested in my tea cup? |
| |
| Awhile back, I switched to drinking tea. Now every time I make tea for myself, my female cat, EB, tries to drink out of my cup. Or, maybe she's just smelling the tea. Is this something all cats do? Why would she be going after my tea? | | | | | |

| | Well, it all depends on what the ingredients of the tea are. Some cats just love to smell different teas. One of my cats love the smell of coffee- and that just boggles my mind. We may not know why cats do what they do, but they surely keep us entertained!! | | | | | | |

| | One of my cats is loving the coffee with milk. Directly he is crazy about it. How he will only sniff her out, hot and smelling it is having to try a bit. As regards the tea I never met avidly amongst my cats.. You must drink some peculiar tea... | | | |

| | Lacey does it too. I don't know why. If I have a jug of sun tea sitting outside Sparkle comes along andlays down near the jug but always sniffs it first. My cat Princess would always try to drink tea too. Who knows? Cats are strange and wonderful creatures. | | | | | | |

| | no idea.maybe because it's yours and she wants to know if it's something she wants. i'm still trying to figure out why my fluffy cat wanted my mom's orange juice. he'd walk right up,look at her, then stick his paw in for a drink. most cats hate citrus.. | | | | | | |

| | When I lived on my own and had a couple of cats both of them loved my iced tea. I drank iced tea all the time and I had to guard it... Pinky would actually take tastes of my tea if I left it. | | | | | | |

| | Well I don't drink tea, I don't like it. So I don't know if my cat would drink it or not. I know my cat will drink my water. I will have a cup of water on my nightstand or on a table and he will try to drink it. He will have clean and fresh water, I guess he thinks mine is more fresh and clean. So I have to watch when I have a cup of water somewhere. He likes to lick the ice cubes that are in the water I think too. I have seen him do that. When it gets really hot I will sometimes put ice cubes in his bowl of water. | | | | | | |

| | I think its just your cat as my mum's cat is never interested in my cup of tea when I stay with her. He is too interested in being a mummy's cat or off causing trouble outside. | | | | | | |

| | Hello beauty queen. I think that it is the good smell of the tea that drives her to have a desire to taste and drink the tea you make. Yes? Good tea always smells good. I love to drink tea as well. Good day to you, friend. | | | | | | |
