christianity was an illegal movement during the roman empire, christianity were persecuted and christian books were burned by roman officials. But amazingly copies were made centuries before constantine the great, who legalized christianity survived. Thanks to the courageous and devoted students of the Bible. They bravely risked their lives to hide the books and save them. These books became treasures because they are the proofs that the gospel was handed down exactly the way these were written.

I wouldn't say it was the word of God that was saved, so much as the word of several men who claimed that God exists. The actual Bible didn't even exist until AFTER Constantine.

some researchers are trying to get any proofs that there is god, whether this is true or not as long as we believe that there is god and believing in the word of god.
