Do you have tattoos?

What are your thoughts on tattoos? Are they a new fad or trend? Do you think they are cool and a way to express yourself or just ugly and scary? I know the views of tattoos here in the US have changed in the past years. Seems like now every school teacher has a tattoo. They are becoming more and more acceptable. What do you think?

I have a tattoo, and it means something special and important to me. I intend to get more and not all of them will mean something, some will just be pretty.
Like most things in life, tattoos as a whole are neither good or bad, beautiful or ugly. Each tattoo is different. Some have meaning for the person that got them, some are just for decoration, others are simply a status symbol.

Good point. They definately aren't for everyone. Its hard to make a decision that is forever. It would be different if you could just take them off when you wanted. :)
