|  The Hornets may be the best NBA team this season if they continue what their doing during preseason but only time will tell. Chris Paul just continues to impress me with how good he is going from being unheard of until making an outstanding example last season.

| |  agree that nawlins is a team to contend with in the west but i doubt if they make it all the way to the finals this season. the west is very competitive and the hornets did get better with the acquisition of james posey but so did the other western teams.
last season, all western play-off teams got 50 plus wins and i expect the same this season. it just shows how good western teams are compared to their eastern counterparts. anyway, i'll be cheering on the hornets along with the trailblazers, the heat, and the knicks this season.
can't wait for the start of the nba!!!

| |  Yes. They do look great and Chris Paul is amazing. A young point guard who can lead the team, shot big baskets, and make his teammates look better: Sounds like a MVP contender for me. As for the NO Hornets as a team, they should continue to improve individually and continue their winning ways to reach the playoffs if not the NBA Final and possibly a NBA Championship. As for this upcoming season, I think the NOH will again reach the playoffs but my bet for the West Champs is the L.A Lakers. Let's just see what happens.
