what to do if you can"t sleep?

Sometimes going to sleep can seem boring. Some kids have trouble falling to sleep. A major change in our life or daily routine can easily cause sleep problem. Insomia also can happen when you're worried about things. In my case, I do watch Tv, listening to music...or I count backward from 100 with my eyes closed.. By the time you get to 10(yawn) hope you'l feel very sleepy. and by 5, hope you'l feel yourself drifting off....3, 2, 1......ZZZZZZZZZZZZ... Hope to hear from you guys... Grace

Hi ya Grace030174 Lately I have had a few things on my mind and have had a problem getting to sleep. Once I am asleep there is no problem, I don't wake again until I need to get up. I usually watch the tv until quite late so that I can then sleep because I am tired. Trouble is I am waking up really tired. I have been known to count myself to sleep but in french just to make it a bit more tiring. Sweet dreams

thats y u cant sleep becos there are few things on ur mind that bothers u. even I encountering that sometimes. Hope u get a gudnite sleep tonite....

Eating light during the meal and giving a gap of about half an hour before going to bed helps. Also i try to take bath after coming back from the day's work. It gives me a good night sleep. I love sleeping anyways. So falling asleep isn't a problem with me so far.

taking a light meal at nite is good cos our body is not working really well unlike during daytime.. thanks shar..

Always avoid drinking coffee if you are suffering from insomnia. Try to drink milk before you go to sleep because this will help in making your eyes become sleepy. Put aside all your worries and just relax your mind when it is time for bed. For me I like taking a hot shower before I go to bed. It is such a relaxing feeling after the hot shower and I can go to sleep very easily. If all the other methods can't make you go to sleep, maybe you can try eating sleeping pills but don't make it a habit or else you will be dependent on it always.

yeah cos caffein is a stimulant and can make you awake. it feels good taking a shower b4 going to bed. i never try sleeping pills... thanks ladysurvivor.. CHeers

If I cannot sleep in the night in which I need too in the first place I do is just read some books to make me feel sleepy and watched a television until the time i would feel so sleepy.....

hi GRACE i m normally used the music player when i m going to bed. it helps me to got the sleep. and when i can't sleep i just on the music player with min volume and placed it near my pillow and then try to sleep . it give me much benifit , although the mucis player is on till morning but i got a good sleep. hope you will enjoy my sleeping method. I usually get online and come to mylot and post till I can't keep my eyes open any longer and basically almost fall asleep at the computer because if is a way I can only get to sleep. Television and counting sheep just doesn't work for me.
