i think my cat is pregnant. shes been acting weird and i know she was in heat but i dont know if shes pregnant or if her cycle or whatever is just over. her stomach feels a bit bulged but i cant really tell. can anyone help me figure out how to tell if she really is going to have kittens?

Just observe the cat. If her stomach grows bigger then she is pregnant. Just leave her. She knows where to give birth.

We had cats before and they give birth inside our closet. After that incidence, we never had a female cat...

Was she around any male cats while she was in heat? Bulging tummy may indicate being pregnant, but could be other things too. Might want to bring her to the vet to check out.

yes she was around my other cat. i never seen them mate but my dad thinks they could be smart enough to do that when we leave or sleeping.

Cats are naturally nocturnal, so if you have an unneutered male cat, she is probably pregnant. I hope you are wanting a house full of kittens. If not, please get them 'fixed'. It's cruel to bring unwanted pets into the world.

A vet would be able to tell you, or you could just wait and see. If you don't want kittens, you should take her to the vet anyway and have her fixed. Paws and Claws gives coupons for free or low-cost (I can't remember which) Spay,Neuter and so might your local Humane Society. Happy MyLotting!
