Is there a way to hang somthing on the wall without damaging the wall?

I would like to hang some of my art work on the wall but I dont want to damage the walls, also I need to know if theres something out there that is strong enough to hold a big and heavy picture frame so it wont fall off the wall, because I have several heavy pictures as well as other things that I want to hang but I really dont want to put holes in the walls so can anyone suggest a good product or have an idea for hanging things without ruining the walls, please I could really use some tips.

We had this same problem when we remodeled at my office and wanted to hang some things on the new walls. At Walmart, I found some velcro tape that came in different sizes, made specifically for hanging pictures on walls. You put a strip on the wall and another on the back of whatever you want to hang. It doesn't damage the paint and you can put the strips on all four sides so, especially if you're hanging something large and heavy, it will be stable and better supported. They probably sell something similar at hardware stores, too.
