Well assuming I can pick from the dead or living, Buddha would be a great choice for me OR Lama Surya Das OR someone like Ted Andrews or Jamie Sams...

as for non-religious ppl I would pick my biological father who sadly passed away before I could find and meet him

I will definatly choose brad pitt and i will call him to be my partner for my company dinner ... He must make sure that he makes everyone envy me ..

Religious people will only talk of spiritual things and sometimes, they overdo it and makes me feel as if they can get the awards for "drama king" or "drama queen"

Especially the hindu religious people, they cant eat in the same plate as us, cant drink in the same cup as us, cant eat non vege, must make sure the dinner is cooked by only certain people ... the pleasure of dinner is just lost

I can think of three off the top of my head that I think would be interesting to sit down and talk with. I have always admired and respected Jawaharlal Nehru. I was lucky enough to meet him once but I was very young and I have always regretted that I didn't have more tine to talk with him. For enlightenment and wisdom there can be no other choice but M. K. Gandhi. I think Salman Rushdie would be an interesting person to have a chance to get to know. I could use some advice from him on how to cope with living under the threat of a fatwa since I have similar problems. The list could go on and on but those would be my first three choices.

At present, since I am not enlightened, I will choose the company of Buddha, Osho, Ravi Shankar etc..
But if I was enlightened, then I would choose the company of Angelina, Brad Pitt etc.. because an enlightened person does not need the company of another enlightened person.
But a non-enlightened one needs the company of the enlightened. The loving and wise words of the enlightened will be of much benefit to the non-enlightened. Even the very presence of the enlightened will be of much help.
Therefore, when not enlightened, I will go for dinner with Buddha, Osho and the like.
When enlightened, I will go for dinner with Angelina, Madhuri, Mithun Chakravarthi and the like.

The first choice of course.. I can't think of anybody else I'd rather be with than my spiritual Guru. Whether its dinner or anything else, just being in His presence is more than enough to put me in ecstasy. I just wish I get to that mental state of realising His Presence all throughout the day.

i would like to go out on a dinner only with my husband and no one else. i love my husband and husband loves me and we would be very happy to spend time with eachother, we usually do it but we are happy do it futher.
yes i pray god and i follow my religion and i have to do good deeds and not that i have to have a dinner or lunch with god so it is a different think to pray god so let it be separate only.
i also like many actors and but they are not the special one for me as they dont know me and are just a stranger and they only entertain us.
the person who matter me in life is my husband and i would wish to go with him and spend my life with him only and now i have a child and he is one among us now.
