I think I could be a famous superstar...but I only sound good in the shower. Isn't that weird? I think it has something to do with the acoustics in there. I can sing all day long and scare all the birds away but as soon as I step in the shower, I'm actually.....good!

I love to sing in the shower. I havee a lil dog who sits in the floor and listens to me. That is very loyal since I am not a great singing artist. lol

That is funny! Unfortunately for my husband and children, they are my regular audience! I sing in there weather they are in the next room or not. Haven't gotten any complaints yet though!

I took voice lessons as a kid. So I think I have a fairly decent voice. But I don't sing in the shower. I don't know, it may have something to do with the echo. But I have been known to hum.

I always wanted to take voice lessions but I was to embarrased. I still am, I only sing in the shower or in the car when my husband is not in there.

I don't usually sing in the shower, but I'll sing while I'm in the bathroom, you know doing my thing. The acoustics in there are great, because I sound good when I'm singing in there, but of course I only do it when I'm home alone..haha.

I play Nintendo DS while I'm doing my thing! I would be to distracted to sing during those actions.

I know, isn't that the weirdest thing? I felt like people should hear me when I'm in there. But once I step out of that bathroom, it is soooo aweful! Maybe I could record a record while im in there!

Interesting Topic of discussion! I recall writing an article on this subject why people sing in bath room some 20 years back! I was a column writer for a Local News Paper then! Yes like you and me many people are Super Stars of the Bathroom singing! We really enjoy our singing and some times we try to rember the best possible song we can sing to satisfy ourselves! LOL ! Actually as you said it is the acoustic factor of the bath room and other factors like privacy, which helps us to shed out all our inhibihitions. Bathing time is a time where almost every one of us don't have any personal inhibihitions as we are totally alone and our privacy is totally guarded! The sense of privacy and feel good factor because of relaxation and the comfort of the luke warm water initiate our urge for singng ! Singing is a phenomenon which comes naturally when we are relaxed and comfortable! Thus when our body harmones are in harmony and because of which we are in state of happiness, we tend to initiate singing! A clean and Cosy surroundings of Bath Room definitely enhances the feelings and urge to sing.If you are having even if alittle back ground about the music in your family, then your bathroom becomes a Recording Room for yousay for half an hours' time to an hours time depending upon your mood and the time of the day when you are having your bath! Good topic of discussion, I liked participating in it! happy nath room Singinmg and Mylotting !!!

Yes, I sing in the shower. I sound okay in my opinion. It must be because I did sung solos in church many years ago. Primarily I sing to myself though. Believe it or not I can actually be quite shy. I do sing while in the car with my hubby and friends, you know, along with the radio.

I usually do that. It`s kind of a hobby for me... I just sing whenever and wherever I go. So shower or bathroom is not really an exemption. I just love it when I sing it loud and water keep flowing into my body... such a wonderful feeling... I can even reach higher notes when I sing while having a shower. But right now, because of my acute bronchitis, I stopped from doing it. But hopefully, once I am okay and back to normal, I would surely sing it loud again while on shower! Just hope it would be sooon.

yep I do, but I don't really memorize words to songs, so I just make up my own stuff. And yes it is the acoustics. Bathrooms have great acoustics.
