Where do you clip your toenails?

I do clip my toenails in the bathroom, after a hot bath or shower. So that I can throw the removed nails in the bathroom bin. I don't like that somebody else does it in front of me. Yuck! © ronaldinu 2008

Hi laglen, I usually do my toenails clipping after having a bath. It's rather easy for me to do it for the toenails are softer after getting wet for some time. I usually do it in my bedroom. I will spread a piece of old magazine paper on the floor and then clip my nails on it. So the soft cut toenails won't fly somewhere around but falling right onto the paper. I then will polish them with the wiping of a piece of wet cloth. The powder won’t spread in the air to do the polishing and the wiping at the same time. posting and take care.

Depending on what is comfortable for me. Sometimes in the bathroom while sitting on the throne. Other times sitting on my bed.

Somebody does it for me. A girl comes to my house on Sundays and clips my toenails, so with my fingernails. Cheers!!

I sit on my floor and rest my foot on the edge of a really small trash can that I have, and clip them over that before I take the bag (a small grocery bag) out and throw it away. For me, it is the least messy way of clipping my nails, and requires less cleaning after. I find it annoying if people are clipping their nails in front of me and letting it fall to the floor because those same people are not the ones that do the vacuuming in this house.

I can clips my toenails in any place. it doesn't matter for me to choose one place to clips my nails. But I won't clip it in front of other people because it's little unpolite. Keep post happy myLotting...

I always try to cut mine outside, if not ill do it in the bathroom like you before i vacuume... It is natural to do, but it does kinda make me squirmish if someone else does it in front of me...

in the bathroom after ive taken a shower, while sitting on the edge of the tub and my foot over the little trash basket. i cant stand it when someone else clips their toenails in front of me..i dont know why but it just grosses me out. even though feet in general dont gross me..well except the pic that is with this discussion!! that grossed me out lol! i have a pet peeve about clipping toenails in my house. DONT do it on my bed (which has happened before and i FLIPPED out! it was so disgusting cause they left the clippings there!) and DONT do it in the living room on the couch while you watch tv and/or someone is eating! for that matter, only 2 places can anybody clip their toenails in my house..the bathroom or their bedroom! yeah. yuck lol!

I cut my toenails or fingernails in the bedroom. and i dont mind if there's someone cutting their nails in front of me. Its normal i guess.

I clip my toenails in my bedroom, where there is privacy and I get to clean my own mess, . Maybe because I feel comfortable sitting on my bed while clipping my toenails. But it really doesn't matter, because I do it in the living room sometimes, especially when there is no enough light in my room.
