Traditionalpans are generally used in India for the purpose of cooking! These are te vessels or pans which are beings used for ages together and people are comfortable with them. These pans are generally made up of iron, Aluminium, Steel and some times copper and bronze too! Now a days people are using steel pans with copper base!We use both traditional and modern cooking pans for cooking! With the change of the time and the change in the mode of cooking by using different type of fuel than the traditional ones peole are switching over to non stick pans. though they have been introduced in Our country more than a couple of decades it took some to accept them by people. Now the modern generation is prefering to use non sticj pans as they find them attractive, easy to clean and affordable too!How about you Do you use Non Stick pans or the traditional one used in your country? Please respond! Thanks!

During the early period of my married life, I used the ordinary frying pan to do my cooking. It never occurred to me that using a non stick pan would be very much convenient. After many years, I bought a non stick pan for the purpose of preparing pancakes. Before that I never made any pancakes because the process is so tedious and it always stick to the pan.
Then I thought why not using the pan for other purposes such frying chicken, eggs, and making chili and everything. So I started using the non stick pan and I found it is very easy to cook. I can cook many types of pancakes, fry chicken and fish with very little oil and this is healthy indeed. I also grill fish and chicken using the non stick pan because it is a lot faster than using an oven.
Moreover the price of non stick pan is very cheap nowadays. I can get a medium sized pan with only RM13. I think I am going to find a new pan which is smaller and lighter so that it makes my cooking job easier.

We use non-stick pans at home but the "non-stick" never seems to last for very long for some reason? We used the recommended sponges to clean them etc but after a few months they seem to end up having food stick to them. Maybe if we were to buy a more expensive brand of frypan things would improve but given our track record so far I am reluctant to fork out a higher amount of money for one.

I use both because sometimes you just have to have a non stick one for frying eggs. Other times the cast iron frying pan is the only one that would give the consistent heat and sturdiness for the amount of heat needed.
