Who Pays The Bills In Your Household?

I've been wondering with so many households, who pays the bills?
My hubby works and brings the pay check to me and I pay the bills in that aspect, but he is actually the one paying the bills. Wouldn't it be a combined effort in paying them?
I mean I got very upset with my hubby and told him he was now in charge of paying them and he told me NO my job is to go to work and get money, your job is to pay the bills. lol
So I'm asking, who pays the bills? You, Your Hubby or is it a combined effort.

even though my boyfriend is always trying to pay everything i always give my half. i just dont like not contributing. and i feel bad if i know he is trying so hard at work to pay the bills and i am not doing anything.

My husband and i both earn money for our household and bills. I handle all of the money though and make sure the bills get paid and we get what we need.

It's my hubby who is working so most of the bills, he paid it, I am only doing the check stuff but online paying, he is the one who transact it![/i]

hi icy, I am single so have to wrangle round getting my bills getting paid each month with my benefits..it definitley isn't easy it's really hard also am trying to stop as many direct debits as I can...littleowl

I used to sit and write out the checks. But now my hubby does it.He gets out all the bills and pays them online. I work from home. So I don't make as much as I used to when I worked in an office. The money I make goes for entertainment purposes. Or other things we need for the home. Helps keep the dent out of our budget.
