Yes, it is an Salad Dressing that is used to put on salads and vegetables.. It is used for dipping purposes..

hidden valley ranch - my favorite ranch dressing, hidden valley.
My favorite ranch dressing is Hidden Valley. I don't like the buttermilk kind, just the original. Its great for dipping as well as my salad.

If you mean brand then I love Hidden Valley. It's rich and creamy and not too sweet. Ranch dressing is practically the only flavor I really love in a salad dressing. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija
