I am very sorry for your loss! It is a difficult thing to go through. I had two Lhasa Apsos for 15 and 16 years. When the last one passed on, another dog was the farthest thing from my mind. But I so missed having someone get excited when I came home, someone to snuggle with at night, someone to brush and pet while I watched TV. I only lasted about 3 weeks. My new dogs did not "replace" the others. They are different breeds and have such different personalities. They just became new family members. If getting another dog is what is in your heart right now, then by all means do so. If you need some time, then don't rush into it.. Your heart will know when you are ready. Again, I am so sorry!!

Sorry to hear of your loss. It has happened to me many times and it never gets easier. Yes. I would get yourself a puppy as soon as you can. An empty house without a dog is terrible to come home to after you have been used to their welcome.

I am very sorry for your loss. It is very painful to lose a dog. I lost mine a little over a year ago, and I still miss her every day. Again I am very, very sorry.
