Did you hate Geometry in High School?

Yes. I couldn't make head or tail of it. My fault though. I had no textbook. The school was supposed to supply it, but they ran out. It never occurred to that I could buy or maybe borrow from outside sources. I almost flunked. Thing is, I still have the feeling I could have done better. When college came, towards the end, I got to really enjoy trigonometry and I got to wondering why the heck didn't I enjoy geometry back in high school.

hello djoyce71.. I never hated geometry when I am still in high school.. I just love this subject.. in fact I've got good grades in it.. I always get the high score evrytime we have a quiz or exam.. hehe.. but their are some friend of mine who really hated this subject.... happy mylotting and GOD BLESS.....

i love geometry! i love that subject..i wonder why lots of students hate that subject. it will just be an easy subject if youll only learn to understand it. right? ehehe.. happy mylotting!

OH YES I did hate it. That's because I am really not good in proving with the use of different theorems and postulates.

I could not memorize all of them.

HAHA.

All I could remember is the Vertical Angle Theorem, Side-Angle-Side, Angle-Side-Angle.=))

I never liked Geometry because I never understood its formula or concepts or anything related to it. My teacher told me to buy the set of Geometry utensils which all of us can buy from the book store with a cheap price. After buying it, I opened the box but couldn't figure out what was the use of each utensils in it.

Until now I still could not understand how to use a Geometry set. Lol. Sometimes I would draw circles with it during my art class and it helps me to get a good circle shape. Other than that, I had measured something using one of the utensils.

I don't even REMEMBER learning geometry in school let alone know if I liked it or not! I couldn't stand accounting though and I used to get extremely bored sitting in that class several times a week. It was just mind numbingly inane for me and at the end of the year I ended up with a score of 2 and a half out of 65 for my final year accounting exam. The Teacher gave me 2 and a half marks because I at least turned up for the exam and wrote my name on the top of the page. That was all I bothered doing!

I love Mathematics since high school but it seems mathematics doesn't love especially Geometry and Trigonometry.I got low grades with this subjects.And i'm hoping my kids will not follow my footstep concerning about this subject(LOL)

Geometry and Maths are always my dreams. I always scored the entire bullies in geometry and i have a good hand to sketch up well the things too and i think after schooling i forget the pencil and scale ..so let me have a test today again because in real next few years i need to teach to my daughther as well..thanks dad for taught me i need your help as well

Yes, actually it's one of the subjects that I hate, not only it's a nosebleed for me but as well as a headache too. I really don't like to solve geometry problems and to analyze the various theorems and all. I prefer solving algebra any day than geometry. And really thankful that I'm able to get by and finished it.

I found most math quite easy, so I liked it. Right now I work with a lot of kids, and I find that once they understand the math, they like it a lot more. Or at least they tolerate it better.
