| living in a single room | | | | my husband and i live with his parents, and so we occupy one room (his former bachelor's pad), and we have a bathroom. it is pretty good for the two of us, even if he still has his old things from his student days inside the room. but now that we are expecting a baby, the room is getting cramped. i am thinking of taking out the books in the bookshelf, and placing them in a cabinet outside. i dunno, i can't decide. i have already taken out the things in one cabinet--that should hold baby's stuff for at least a year, provided that i take out anything that he has already outgrown. anyway, this is a really major production that we have to do to make way for the baby. but we are enjoying it. i just wish i can decide what to do with the other stuff. take care all and God bless you! :-D | | | | | | | | | | Family Lawyers Find Custody& Family Lawyers& yellowpages.com

| | Congratulations on Expecting! May God Bless you with a beautiful child! My fiance and I also live with his parents. Our room has a lot of his old stuff too, so if we were to expect somethings would have to make way. However, there is a spare bedroom where the computer is and could be made into a nursery if need be, as I am sure his mom would let us. Now, that's a different story though. I just wanted to pop in and say congratulations as well as suggest going through and deciding what is a valuable / collectable or heirloom, what you want to give to your child(ren) one day, and what could possibly be sold. This way you'll make room and profit! | | | | | | | | | | Family Lawyers Find Custody & Family Lawyers & yellowpages.com | add comment | | | |

| | How big is the house? Is there a way to expand the room? There are a few things you could do: 1. Expand. If there are spaces left, you could expand the room. Or if the budget is right, you could expand a whole new floor. How many floors is the house? Are you two living there temporarily? or is it permanent? 2. Clear things. You could do garage sales or talk to your hubby about his other stuff. You both should learn to throw things that aren't necessary, or else you'd soon be in trouble with baby's stuff. When my brother had a baby, they also stayed here in our house. His room was big though, but sooner or later it was just full of baby's stuff. Now, even his space outside his room is now full of baby's toys, and the baby is just 1year and 3months now, so just imagine if he gets bigger, right? Hope you could adjust soon. It's too stressful to be taking care of the baby with such a small space. But it'll be okay, just think positive and enjoy your baby. | | | | | | | | | | Local Coupons Ridiculously huge deals every day. Like doing your city at 90% off! www.Groupon.com | add comment | | | |

| | Congrats that you are expecting. Don't stress yourself too much take ne thing at a time. but its great that you are making some shifts for the arrival of the new baby. Maybe you can sell some stuff that is not needed? Have some garage sale or something or list the things up in ebay to sell???? Hehehe!!! | | | | | | | | | | Ask a Family Lawyer Now 24 Lawyers Are Online. Ask a Question, Get an Answer ASAP. JustAnswer.com/Law | add comment | | | |
