Do you really see "the change" in Obama?

He seems to be picking well informed, knowledgeable people to help. If any body can help they can. So my fingers and toes are crossed. I hope i don't get a cramp

It's going to be a tough ride. The nation is in a state that will take real work on everyone's part. I look forward to watching and writing about it all though. I know many people who are thrilled to have Obama for president. Interesting stuff to watch.

Hi I thought this was a great thing to discuss. I am a little worried about Obama being president but I am hoping for the best. Americas enecomy is getting really bad. Where I live I seem to not be able to get a job even at a fast food job.

He is young but you know I think that a lot of America wanted a new face and a hope for a new change. Thanks for bringing this up.

I sure hope he can handle it, its a big responsibility that I wouldn't want to have. The change he's talking about won't be seen for awhile I'm afraid, its taken 8 yrs. or so for it to get this way, and I don't think he'll be able to fix it in just one term, it will take some time to do it.

Hello ronreyes! First of all, let me just say that I am a proud African American woman who never thought she would see an African American president. I also say congratulations to the many people who voted for Mr. Obama and didn't let his brown-skinned complexion stop them. Now let me just say this: Barak Obama became president at one of the worst times in history due to the soon to be ex-president Bush. He has left an enormous mess for Barak Obama to fix and just let it be known also that if it were John Mc Cain who was elected president he would be in the same situation.
I hope there aren't people out there looking for change right away like in 3, 6, 9 months or even 2 years because the situation the United States is in is down right scary. He cannot go into office in January and wave a magic wand and have all of the problems disappear; it's just not going to happen that fast. My prayers are definitely with him and his family because of course there are people who are not happy that he won. I also pray that he does turn the situation around in time. I really believe that if Mr.Obama associates himself with intelligent and competent people that the economy will improve.

305,595,000 Americans chose Obama in hope of administrating or developing economic crisis. Do I or we really see "the change" in Obama? I really haven't see any change in Obama. Maybe because it is long-run plan.

Well, he just won the election. He hasn't even been sworn in yet. He isn't leading the country, because we can only have one president at a time. So until January he won't be president... but to answer your question.. NO.. I don't think there will be any change. I think there will be a lot of lip service and a lot of back tracking to lower the expectations of the people who voted for him to make change. I think people expect him to make good and when he can't they will become disillusioned. He can't work miracles. He can only run his mouth in a campaign saying he will do this and that, but then back track and say that it will take more than his term to make changes. It's all a game to get elected, and then get on with reality that is totally different from the changes people were expecting. That's just politics.

i am not from america, and with this people in the whole world will be affected by this for america is the most strongest country in the whole world. lets just wait and see what will happen. pray that it would be for the better and pray also that the american people did not make any mistakes with their votes. all we have to do now is watch and observe.
