Does he have a right to blame the media? They just reported the truth. Why is he upset about this? He should be more upset with Obama who is the one who left his church after 20 years. Obama had no qualms about his preaching until he became a presidential candidate, and it started to look sticky. Rev. Wright is upset because it does not look like he will be invited to the White House. But I have this feeling that Obama and his former pastor will kissing and making up in no time. He will be invited to all the slumber parties. :)

The media doesn't report the truth, the find something that's entertaining, blow it up bigger than life, then cram it down our throats to convince us that it's all we should focus on.
Remember when Clinton got a b-job? That was pretty cool, but what else was happening during that time? Doesn't matter because Clinton got a b-job.
W.Bush says "Mission Accomplished!" The war in Iraq is over now, right?
Don't ask questions, just stay focused! Mission Accomplished!
What else does Obama do? Doesn't matter because his pastor is a racist.
What about Obama? Doesn't matter because his pastor is a racist.
The "news" is entertainment and misdirection. Lots of fun though. :-)

LOL! It was Rev Wright who caused the rift: it says Obama supported him, but then 6 weeks later he did it again!!! What an idiot! What a "friend"! Oh my almost-like-a-son is running for President and they've already called me controversial, so let me go out and make another controversial speech! Obama SHOULD have dumped him as he did, even just on grounds that Rev Wright was not behaving as a friend would, on top of the remarks he made.
I also suspect we'll be seeing them kiss and make up soon. It was too close a relationship.
I am not as convinced Obama sat there for 20 years because he has the same views as Rev Wright, but more because it was the largest black church and Obama needed all those VOTES
either way does not say much of his character, but we'll see how he does now.

He has only his self to blame. He is the one who publicly said those hateful things. Yes the media covered it. But then they did their best to convience the public that it did not matter. He should be thankful for the press for smoothing it over. Not blaming them for reporting on it.

The press did smooth it over. They tried to say it was taken out of context and that with everything that happened during slavery we are the ones who should feel bad.
