With lots of yummy foods being served to you, who can resist? But with waistline getting bigger, who would enjoy?

Holidays are near to come and almost everybody feels the excitement of festive moods in the surroundings. Crowded malls, heavy traffics, and jolly Christmas carols are now starting to be seen and heard everywhere. I don't really like a lot of the holiday food, so holidays don't hit me too bad.

The main thing that's getting me right now is that I can't swim in this cold weather and I am not being successful with other attempts at exercising. I still have 6 pounds to go on my weight loss goal. I need to get back to doing something I can enjoy in the cooler weather.

I was on a diet last year during these months. I was successfully able to enjoy some treats and still lose weight at the same time. This year I will be careful with planning my menu in order to avoid the typical holiday weight gain. I check out a lot of recipes which use low fat items or substitutions in order to make great holiday dishes with a lot fewer calories. After all my hard work, I don't want to gain back any of the weight I lost. Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
