Do you prefer to use drinking straws?  |

 Except in some cases, I would prefer to use a drinking straw when drinking from cans or bottles. Of course I wouldn't do that when I am drinking beer (which I rarely do as I am allergic to it). It all depends on what I am drinking. When buying bottled water, I do not really use drinking straws. Well, yeah, sometimes I do, most of the time, I don't. When I am driving, I prefer using a drinking straw when drinking from cans or bottles. How about you?

I think the only time that I have ever used one was back in my drinking days when my friends and I would have a straw with our drink. The only reason we would use a straw with the alcohol is because it got us drunk a lot faster!

Soda and tea can stain a person's teeth, and it is recommended to lessen the effect, a straw should be used. As for restaurants, I know they wash their drinking glasses, but I'd feel better if I didn't put my mouth on a glass hundreds of people have already used.

I do not use any straw when I drick, I drink out of a cup or tumbler, in this country it is against the law to eat and drink while driving, in case of causing accidents.

If its hot coffee, I think I wouldn't be able to drink something like that with a straw. Smoothie would definitely get me to use a drinking straw, this one would probably have those big straw with them..
There are also cases when I don't use drinking straws as well.. most of the fast food chains I get to eat at gets me to use drinking straws (^_^ )
